一、你明明有属灵的感动,却为何最终越走越偏?
在我接触的许多信徒中,有一个令人痛心却极其常见的现象:他们的起点是属灵的,是出于祷告和感动的,但走着走着,却偏离了当初的方向,甚至误入歧途。这种偏离,不是因为他们没有听见神的声音,而是——在听见之后,他们没有坚持走那条“看似不划算”的路。
他们最终选择了另一条更“现实”、更“安全”、更容易向家人或社会交代的路——而不是那条忠于内心呼召、忠于十字架的路。于是,他们就陷入了“多神崇拜”的属灵结构:嘴里信神,心里却被权力、金钱、世俗认同感分裂控制。
二、第一种误入歧途:明知神引导,却被现实搅扰拖偏
这类人其实知道神要他们改变人生方向——可能是从体制中抽身、从纷争中悔改,或是从冷漠中站出来见证真理。但他们转念一想:
- “现在退出体制,家人怎么办?”
- “我说了真话,会不会被封杀?”
- “我若辞掉这个安稳的岗位,未来靠什么活?”
于是,他们把那份最初的感动深埋心底,假装没听见神的声音,转而随从另一个“更能解决燃眉之急”的方向。他们嘴里说“神的带领”,但实际行动上却跟着世俗的秩序走。
典型例子:
一位党员基督徒本感动要退出某个有违良知的岗位,但因担心仕途与待遇,最终选择留在系统里。起初他只是“多祷告”,后来变成“祷告之后做该做的”,最后变成“神也明白我不能轻举妄动”——结果,良知成了装饰,灵命渐渐麻木。
三、第二种误入歧途:只信内心感动,却拒绝外部指引
先看一段出自托马斯·默顿(Thomas Merton)关于属灵分辨力的教导,指出没有属灵引导、只信自己感动的人极具危险性。“The most dangerous man in the world is the contemplative who is guided by nobody. He obeys no one. He listens to no one. He follows no one. He is guided by nothing but his own self-will. Rather, he takes his feelings, his inspirations, as God. The more they make him feel good, the more he believes they are God. The more they please him, the more certain he is that he is on the right track.”

他不受任何真理的带领,只凭着自己的意志而行。
他把自己的感受、灵感,当作神的声音。

这是一种相反的属灵极端。
这类人认为:“只要我觉得有平安,就是神的意思。”他们不再听牧者的劝告,不再参与群体分辨,也不肯参考圣经客观的真理,而是把所有内心的感觉都“属灵化”,甚至将热情当作圣灵、将冲动当作呼召。
托马斯·默顿的说法恰如其分的指出了这种情况的错谬之处。典型例子:
有弟兄自称“神感动我要离婚”,理由是:“我内心已没有平安。”但其实是逃避家庭责任、沉溺情欲。他对所有人劝说充耳不闻,说:“你们不懂圣灵在我里面做工。”最终,他离了婚、再婚、教会也离开了他,而他仍自认为“顺从圣灵的声音”。

四、多神崇拜的属灵真相:你不是不信神,而是信太多声音
多神崇拜,不一定是去庙里拜神像,而是在心里同时信很多“主”:
- 信神,也信金钱的保值;
- 信福音,也信体制的安排;
- 信圣经,也信“朋友圈的意见”;
- 信呼召,也信“环境的推力”;
结果,你做的决策永远是“综合权衡”出来的,不是“对神顺服”出来的。
这就是以色列人常常得罪神的原因:他们并没有否认耶和华,而是“既拜耶和华,也拜巴力、亚舍拉”。
五、属灵的出路:既不偏左也不偏右
我们今天看到的两个属灵危险,其实是一体两面:
- 一种是只信感觉、不受约束的自我独裁式信仰;
- 一种是听从现实、拒绝真理的妥协式信仰。
神要我们走的路,是:
- 有属灵感动,但也愿意受圣经真理检验;
- 听从内心呼召,但也勇敢面对环境挑战;
- 不盲目崇拜人,但也不固执抗拒劝诫;
- 不逃避世界,但也不被世界同化。
六、属灵呼吁:唯有顺服独一真神,才能不再误入歧途
亲爱的弟兄姊妹,
你是否也曾明知神的引导,却最终随从了别的“神”?
你是否也曾在多种声音中优柔寡断,最后“做了人看为对的事”?
你是否也曾热情高涨,却最终错信了自己的感觉,而远离了真理?
愿今天你从混乱中回转,单单寻求神的心意,勇敢面对自己真实的属灵挣扎。
不要逃避,也不要独行,更不要用“神感动我”来逃避真理的检验。
结语
神的带领不是一种舒服的情绪,也不是一种主观的亮光,而是圣灵、真理、群体、现实交汇之处的顺服。你不必完美,但你必须诚实;你不需立刻见果效,但你必须忠于起初的感动。
正如大卫和所罗门在诗篇中所反复强调的,真正蒙福的人,是那坚定不移跟随神引导的人。不论前方是旷野、山谷或风雨,只要你心存敬畏,脚步不偏左右,神就要使你的路径正直,使你的脚步稳妥。
愿你从今往后,不再拜“太多神”,也不再被复杂的感觉牵引,而是单单顺服神的带领,坚定不移地走下去,活好当下的每一天、每一个圣灵感动的时刻,不负韶华,更不负神的带领,不要被祂“遗弃”。这条路也许不捷径、也许不热闹,但它通往真正的光与自由,是唯一不会误入歧途的路。

I. You Clearly Had a Spiritual Prompting—Why Did You End Up Off Course?
Among many believers I know, one painful yet common phenomenon recurs: they began on a spiritual footing—moved by prayer and inner conviction—yet over time drifted away from their original direction, even wandering into danger. The problem is not that they failed to hear God’s voice; rather, after hearing it they refused to keep walking the “uneconomical” road.
Instead, they chose a path that felt more “practical,” “safe,” and easier to explain to family or society—rather than the road faithful to their calling and to the cross. Thus they fell into a polytheistic mindset: they profess faith in God, yet their hearts are fragmented by power, money, and social approval.
II. First Way of Going Astray: Knowing God’s Lead Yet Being Pulled Off by Real-World Pressures
These believers know God is prompting them—perhaps to leave a corrupt system, repent from conflict, or stand up against apathy. But then they think:
- “If I quit the system now, what about my family?”
- “If I speak the truth, will I be silenced?”
- “If I resign from this secure job, how will I live?”
They bury the original prompting, pretend they never heard God, and follow the option that seemingly solves the urgent need. They talk about “God’s guidance,” yet their actions obey the world’s order.
Typical example:
A Party-member Christian felt led to quit a position that violated conscience, but fear of losing status and benefits kept him. At first he “prayed more,” then “prayed and did what he had to,” and finally concluded, “God understands I can’t act rashly.” Conscience became decoration; his spiritual life grew numb.
III. Second Way of Going Astray: Trusting Only Inner Feelings and Rejecting Outside Guidance
Thomas Merton warns against a contemplative guided by no one but himself:
“The most dangerous man in the world is the contemplative who is guided by nobody… He takes his feelings, his inspirations, as God. The more they make him feel good, the more he believes they are God.”
In Chinese:
“世上最危险的人,是那个无人引导的沉思者……他把自己的感受、灵感,当作神的声音。那些令他感觉良好的,他就确信出自神;那些使他愉悦的,他就坚信自己走在正路上。”
This is the opposite extreme. Such people say, “As long as I feel peace, it must be God’s will.” They ignore pastors’ counsel, refuse communal discernment, and will not test feelings by Scripture—spiritualizing every emotion, treating fervor as the Spirit and impulse as calling.
Typical example:
A brother claimed, “God moved me to divorce; I no longer have inner peace.” In truth he fled responsibility and indulged lust. He ignored all counsel: “You don’t understand the Spirit in me.” He divorced, remarried, and left church fellowship, still convinced he obeyed the Spirit.

IV. The Spiritual Reality of Polytheism: You Don’t Disbelieve God—You Believe Too Many Voices
Polytheism is not merely bowing to idols in a temple; it is honoring many ‘lords’ within:
- Trusting God—yet also trusting money’s security;
- Believing the gospel—yet also the system’s arrangement;
- Holding to Scripture—yet also friends’ opinions;
- Hearing a call—yet also “what circumstances push.”
Decisions become a balance of interests, not an act of obedience. Israel often sinned thus: “They worshiped Yahweh, yet also Baal and Asherah.”
V. The Spiritual Path Forward: Neither Extreme Left nor Extreme Right
The two dangers are two sides of one coin:
- Subjective dictatorship: only feelings, no correction.
- Compromised faith: listening to reality, rejecting truth.
God’s road is:
- Have spiritual promptings and let Scripture test them.
- Follow the inner call and face real-world challenges.
- Reject blind hero-worship and avoid stubborn rejection of counsel.
- Do not escape the world, yet do not conform to it.
VI. A Spiritual Appeal: Obey the One True God, and You Will Not Go Astray
Dear brothers and sisters,
Have you knowingly followed other “gods” instead of God’s leading?
Have you wavered among many voices and done “what seemed right” by human measure?
Have you burned with zeal yet trusted a feeling and drifted from truth?
Today, return from confusion. Seek God’s heart alone and face your true struggle—do not flee, isolate, or hide behind “God moved me” to escape testing by truth.
Conclusion
God’s guidance is not mere comfort or private illumination—it is obedience at the crossroads of Spirit, truth, community, and real life. You need not be perfect, only honest; need not see instant results, only stay faithful to the initial call.
As David and Solomon repeat in the Psalms, the truly blessed are those who steadfastly follow God’s lead. Whether desert, valley, or storm lies ahead, if you revere Him and keep straight feet, He will make your path firm.
May you henceforth stop bowing to “too many gods,” cease being driven by tangled feelings, and instead follow God’s guidance alone, unwavering. Walk each day and each Spirit-prompted moment well; waste no time and, above all, do not forfeit His leading. This path is no shortcut and seldom flashy, yet it leads to true light and freedom—the only road that never ends in ruin.
