注释：本文中的「大洋国」并非指任何现实国家，而是一种心灵状态：当信息被过滤、思想被统一、人被当作工具、自由被压缩时，整个社会就像活在梦境中。「大洋国」是一种寓言，是我们每一个人在被管理的叙事中生活时的共同处境。

　　在大洋国的很多角落，人们以为自己生活在稳定、和平、秩序井然的世界里。信息被规整，叙事被统一，现实被包装得干净、有序、无比宏大。多年来，大多数人都像在一场被安排好的梦境里生活：按部就班地按中央规划好的大纲学习并参加考试，按中央的路线方针政策指导下的流程工作，按照上级组织约定的规矩说话，用并不属于自己的方式进行统一模式下的思考。为了让你在所谓的业余时间忘却这一切，电视里的统一新闻播报和占据电视黄金时间的抗日神剧一年一年的让“你不忘初心”，牢记作为韭菜应当听话、时刻献身的使命。

　　苏小和曾说：“几年前，只有北京五环内少部分人知道中国正在发生什么。”这句话听起来夸张，却点出了一个深刻的人性机制——当信息被过滤，人就会把所见当全部，把沉默当稳定，把困难当命运。然而这些年，越来越多身体和思想“润到自由国度”的人、跨国企业员工、接触外界资讯的年轻人，开始看到原来梦境之外还有世界。那个被大洋国视为敌人的漂亮国原来是地面上最接近上帝国度的样子。许多人第一次意识到：过去许多被当成理所当然的事情，其实并不是“正常”。他们看到的所谓“真相”，并不是某个秘密文件，而是一个简单现实：一个极权式的体系，为了维持自身的结构，会习惯性地把人当成工具，而不是目的。

　　在这样的梦里，人被要求成为一个“合格的齿轮”：努力工作、服从安排、保持沉默、在需要的时候奉献、在被要求的时候牺牲。外在的叙事宏伟壮观，内在的生活却常常充满焦虑、不安、债务、压抑与无力感。表面上，大洋国安静而稳固；实际上，许多人的灵魂正在被透支——自由被限制，思想被管理，表达被设限，人的尊严慢慢被磨损，并在稳定的前提下统一思想、统一行动，一致对外。

　　一个人长久活在这样的环境里，已经逐渐失去上帝子民最宝贵的东西：分辨真假的能力、判断善恶的能力、承担选择的能力、对自由的渴望。这正是为什么，“批判性思维”如此重要。它不是反抗，也不是斗争，而是一个人对自己的灵魂负责的能力。批判性思维不是为了推翻什么，而是为了让我们重新成为一个“人”，成为上帝子民最初的样子，而不是被时代推着走的工具。

　　只有当一个人开始问：“为什么听起来正确的事做起来让我痛苦？”“为什么表面安定，生活却充满压抑？”“为什么宏大的叙事掩盖了真实的困境？”“为什么我不能表达心里的想法？”他才真正从梦境中醒来。梦醒不是愤怒，也不是反叛，而是开始看清自己的处境，开始看见自己本该拥有的自由。

　　在神的国度观里，人不是工具，而是被赋予自由意志、尊严、思想与灵魂的创造物。任何剥夺人自由思想的制度，必然与神的旨意背道而驰。一个不尊重人的制度，最终也无法长久存在。当一个人在口里、心里大声赞美神、呼求耶稣基督带领的时候，他就是在追求自由、歌颂自由。

　　历史上所有看似强大的帝国——罗马、秦朝、奥斯曼、前苏联……没有一个是被敌人击垮的。他们都是在失去人民的心、失去灵魂的自由、失去自我更替能力之后，自然崩塌。

　　一个民族的出路，不来自推翻，也不来自奇迹，而来自觉醒。觉醒不是喊口号，而是普通人愿意对自己的生活负责，愿意重新思考，愿意相信自己配得上自由，愿意相信未来可以被改变。

　　一个民族如此，一个人也是如此。当越来越多的大洋国人开始问问题，开始看见自己正在失去什么，开始在心里拿回神赐的自由意志，那这个民族才真正有了希望。而真正的自由，也不是外在制度先改变，而是你愿不愿意先从灵魂里开始改变。

　　愿每一个大洋国的人，都能重新拥有自由的思想、真实的生活、正直的判断、与神同行的勇气。愿我们不再活在别人编织的梦里，而是活在自己清醒的光里。

The Dreaming Great Ocean State:Why We Must Learn to Think and Live Freely Again

Note: In this article, “Oceania” does not refer to any real nation. Instead, it represents a state of the human spirit: when information is filtered, thoughts are unified, people are treated as tools, and freedom is compressed, society begins to resemble a dreamlike world. “Oceania” is an allegory—a shared condition experienced by all of us when we live inside narratives that are managed and shaped for us.

In many corners of the Great Ocean State, people believe they are living in a world of stability, peace, and perfect order. Information is curated, narratives are unified, and reality is packaged to look clean, orderly, and magnificently grand. For years, most people have lived as though inside an arranged dream: studying according to centrally designed outlines, taking exams set by the authorities, working strictly under policies and directives issued from above, speaking according to prescribed rules, and thinking in patterns that do not truly belong to them. To help you forget all this during your so-called leisure time, unified news broadcasts and endless anti-Japanese war dramas dominate prime-time television year after year, reminding you to “stay true to your original aspiration”—that is, to remember your mission as an obedient, ever-sacrificial blade of grass.

Su Xiaohe once said, “A few years ago, only a very small number of people inside Beijing’s Fifth Ring Road knew what was actually happening in China.”
This sounds exaggerated, but it reveals a deep truth about human nature:
When information is filtered, people begin to take what they see as the whole truth, take silence as stability, and take hardship as destiny.

In recent years, however, more and more people—those whose bodies or minds have “drifted” to freer lands, employees of multinational companies, young people with access to outside information—have begun to see that there is a world beyond the dream. The beautiful country(USA) demonized by the Great Ocean State turns out to be, in many ways, the closest earthly reflection of God’s kingdom. Many have realized for the first time that things long treated as “normal” were never normal at all.
What they have discovered is not some secret document, but a simple reality:
An authoritarian system, in order to preserve itself, inevitably turns people into tools rather than purposes.

Within such a dream, one is required to become a “qualified gear”:
to work hard, obey orders, remain silent, offer oneself when required, and sacrifice when demanded.
Outwardly, the narrative is grand and heroic; inwardly, life is filled with anxiety, restlessness, debt, repression, and helplessness. The Great Ocean State appears calm and stable; yet in reality, countless souls are being drained—freedom is restricted, thought is managed, expression is limited, and human dignity is gradually eroded, all under the banner of “stability” and “unity of thought and action.”

A person who lives too long in such an environment eventually loses the most precious gifts given to God’s people: the ability to discern truth from falsehood, the ability to judge right from wrong, the courage to make choices, and the desire for freedom. This is why critical thinking is so essential.
It is not rebellion, nor confrontation; it is the responsibility one takes for one’s own soul. Critical thinking is not meant to overthrow anything, but to restore us to what a human being—what God’s people—were originally meant to be, rather than tools pushed along by the times.

A person begins to awaken only when he starts to ask:
“Why do things that sound right feel so painful when I live them out?”
“Why does life feel suffocating beneath a surface of stability?”
“Why do grand narratives hide the real suffering?”
“Why am I not allowed to express what I truly think?”
Awakening is not anger, nor rebellion; it is the moment one begins to see one’s own condition clearly, the moment one recognizes the freedom that should have belonged to them.

In God’s kingdom vision, human beings are not tools, but creations endowed with free will, dignity, thought, and soul. Any system that deprives people of free thinking stands in opposition to the will of God. A structure that does not honor human beings cannot endure. When a person loudly praises God and calls upon Jesus Christ from the depths of the heart, that person is pursuing freedom and singing of freedom.

Throughout history, every seemingly mighty empire—Rome, Qin, the Ottomans, the Soviet Union—was not destroyed by external enemies. They collapsed only after losing the hearts of their people, losing the freedom of their souls, and losing the ability to renew themselves.

The future of a nation does not depend on overthrowing something, nor on miracles, but on awakening. Awakening is not a slogan; it is the willingness of ordinary people to take responsibility for their lives, to think again, to believe they deserve freedom, and to believe the future can change.

What is true for a nation is true for a person.
When more and more people of the Great Ocean State begin to ask questions, begin to see what they are losing, and begin to reclaim the freedom God has given them within their own hearts, only then does this nation gain real hope.
And true freedom does not begin with the transformation of external structures, but with the transformation of the soul.

May every person in the Great Ocean State regain a free mind, a truthful life, upright judgment, and the courage to walk with God.
May we no longer live inside a dream woven by others, but dwell in the clear light of our own awakening.
