Yet, to view this merely as futile suffering is to miss the profound wisdom behind the myth. For Sisyphus, the outcome was already clear. He knew the stone would inevitably fall, that every effort would ultimately be in vain. He could neither seek help nor escape his fate. His only choice was to face it calmly and persist in his task.

When the outcome cannot be changed, the only thing left is how one journeys through the process.
